This is the tote bag I made for myself this summer. It is large enough for whatever summer throws at me, plus I can carry my sketchbook around in it. The shoes are super-comfy Skechers and I wear them often.

Soft, atmospheric, very nice. Love the texture in both paintings.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying your painting for a couple of weeks now. They are so lush.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be very prolific. Just out of curiosity, how long does it take for you to complete one painting?
Thanks y'all,
ReplyDeleteFunky it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, they are small. I will sometimes put them away and go back into them days or weeks later. Months, even. :) It depends on how much uninterrupted time I have.
I love the colour shading in your bag. RICH!
ReplyDeleteSo much depth in the shading, really inspirational. I'm sure your ready to take summer by the scruff of the neck with such a lovely red bag!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice blog. I really like how you capture light and shadow in your work.
ReplyDeleteLush and light capture are indeed apt descriptions of your art.
ReplyDeleteboth bag and shoes are exceptional I think----both seem worn and loved
ReplyDeleteI really like the bag, because the darker background really helps the bag to pop out. The shoes do look super comfy
ReplyDeleteCould I have a bag in blue please? Looks like a great summer bag. I really like the texture you achieved here.
ReplyDeleteLove the painting of the bag!! What's it made of. And how did you make it!?!
